It is a solid instrument made of metal. Found in Kerala, it is worn by temple oracles (Velicappatu) for their ritual dances (Velicappatu Tullal).

These are hollow anklets filled with metal pellets. Worn by temple oracles (Velicappatu) for their ritual dances (Velicappatu Tullal). A variety which is held in the hand and shaken. It is smaller in size than the previous one and is known as Kaicilambu. This is also used by temple oracles.
