Swarmandal is a stringed instrument made of wood and metal. This is a traditional instrument that is found in various parts of North India. Majorly used for accompaniment in North Indian vocal music concerts.

A shallow wooden box with twenty five strings tied to string holding posts and tuning pins. Beads are inserted into the strings for fine tuning. Strings are strummed by right hand fingers. Used for accompaniment in North Indian vocal music concerts. An open string of harp category.
