Blingthop is a solid instrument made of bamboo, softwood and iron. This instrument resembles an elongated, oval shaped, flat plate. Mostly used in group dances of Sikkim.

An elongated, oval shaped, flat plate of softwood and a thin bamboo tube. Both are tied to an iron loop, also used to hold the instrument, by left hand. While playing bamboo stick is struck rhythmically on the plate. Used in group dances of Sikkim.
