Bampathyut is a wind instrument of Sikkim. A bird-shaped whistle made of bamboo. This instrument is mainly used in the jungle for signalling.

A bird shaped bamboo whistle, upper end open, and the lower end is closed by a natural node. While playing, held in hand, the open end is placed on the lower lip and blow.
