Burrakatha Dakki is a percussion instrument made of brass, parchment, cotton and iron. A pitcher shaped vessel, mostly used by ‘Burrakatha’ balladeers.

A pitcher shaped brass vessel having a short neck and round belly. The wider end is covered with skin with the help of cotton cord through hoops and an iron ring. Suspended from neck, played by hands. Used by ‘Burrakatha’ balladeers.
