Description: Musical instruments are more important from the ancient period. Mahabarta, where the army marches to the continuous blare of trumpets, thundering of drums, blowing of sankhas, twanging of bowstrings, tinkling of bells, clapping of hands, etc. This tumultuous uproar continued from sunrise to sunset, but it sopped when the great hero fell during the course of the battle.Here we can say that musical instruments give the sign for starting the battle and ending the battle. Going through with these facts and examples it makes clear that ancient peoples had a highly developed and rich musical system and rich musical system and also the immense interest for the music.
