The Ministry of Culture organised the State Museum Conclave from 1st to 3rd August 2024 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, bringing together key stakeholders from across India to contribute to the vision of the Yuga Yugeen Bharat Museum (YYBM). This three-day event featured workshops, masterclasses, and presentations on best practices in museum management, conservation, and storytelling. It marked the third phase of the Ministry’s capacity-building efforts, following the inter-ministerial consultation and the collaborative workshop with French Museums.

The Indian Culture Portal (ICP) worked with various state museums to build a detailed database for communications and identify star objects for the Yuga Yugeen Bharat Museum (YYBM). ICP also coordinated all communications for the project. At the conclave, the team participated in workshops and masterclasses on repatriation, conservation, and museum management, gaining valuable insights into the functioning of museums across the country.
