Description: This is a small account on the historical incidents of two encounters between the hill people with the people from the plains. The first encounter occurs in 1871, wherein they raid a tea plantation in Alexandrapur and killed Mr. Winchester, and kidnapped his 5 years old daughter Mary Winchester, and took her back to the hills. The nature of the second visit to Alexandrapur in 1963 is completely different from the first visit. In the second encounter, the purpose was to spread the Gospel to the other tribes that settles in their neighboring land.
Here, we can observe the change brought by Christianity to the land.
