In developing an educational programme to foster these human values it is important to emphasize and interrelate the humanistic endeavour that transcends all educational progress. The subjects of music and art in secondary schools should be offered to develop aesthetic awareness in students for a better and meaningful living and make them able to discover for themselves the what and the why of these areas of life, as they speculates about themselves in relation to these areas, as they evaluates these areas regarding their worth and meaning to themselves and their generation.
