01 to 03 DECEMBER KUMBHALGARH FESTIVAL (Kumbhalgarh Fort)
Cradled in the Aravalli Ranges, north of Udaipur, the Kumbhalgarh Fort is the venue for the vibrant and colourful Kumbhalgarh Festival. The fort, built in the 15th century, is the second largest in India. The wall that surrounds the fort has a perimeter of 36 kilometres, making it the 2nd longest wall in the world after The Great Wall of China. The Kumbhalgarh Festival, set against the backdrop of this fort, features exquisite forms of classical and folk dance, puppetry, art camps, and music shows. This annual event, organised by Rajasthan Tourism attracts some of the most talented artists from across the country. The festival spans three days, and during this time, the Kumbhalgarh Fort is a magnificent spectacle adorned with decorations and illuminations.
