Bhuanj is a solid instrument made of bamboo, gourd and cotton. A tribal instrument found in Orissa. An oval shaped long instrument, mostly used in the narrative forms.
Material: Bamboo, Cotton, Gourd
A long, oval shaped gourd, loosely tied to the bamboo. A bent branch of a tree is tied to the one end of the bamboo. One end of a thick cotton cord tied to the branch and the other end is tied to the peg, inserted in the bamboo on the other end. A tribal instrument probably used in the narrative forms.
