This paper highlights that how dedicating dancing girls to temples in not appropriate where Bharatanatyam had also got lost in its value. After denouncing this tradition a new Bharatanatyam evolved which is wholly a theatre art for performance and delectation and freely accessible to all sections of society not as the previous one which is prerogative of any caste or class.
